Located on 160 acres of ground owned by
A1 Organics since the company’s inception, this location is corporate
headquarters for the company. The new corporate offices provide
accounting, administrative, technical support, and a complete maintenance
facility.
Permitted under a Use by Special Review Permit
issued by Weld County, the Eaton facility includes a bagging operation and
is conveniently located near major population centers along the Front
Range.
Feedstock’s processed at Eaton include green waste,
animal manures, clean wood waste, and yard waste.

Rattler Ridge is the newest A1 Organic
recycling and composting facility. Located near the town of Keenesburg on
430 acres, permitting for this facility was completed in November
2000.
This facility is fully permitted in accordance with
CDPHE regulations pertaining to Solid Waste Sites and Facilities,
6CCR1007-2, Section 14, entitled: “Solid Waste Composting”, effective
September 1, 2000. The facility is permitted to receive all types of
organic materials including food waste for composting.
By the way,
the name "Rattler Ridge" speaks for itself! If you come to this site, keep
a look out for the facility's namesake!

Located on 40 acres of privately owned
land and conveniently located 25 miles north of Denver, and 10 miles east
of Longmont, the site was opened in July 1999. It has the capability of
producing 50,000 to 100,000 cubic yards of compost per year. Feedstocks
for the finished compost include animal manures, clean wood waste, yard
waste, and bio solids.
This facility is permitted in
accordance with CDPHE regulations pertaining to Solid Waste Sites and
Facilities, 6CCR1007-2, Section 14, entitled: “Solid Waste Composting”,
effective September 1, 2000.

Opened in 2003, this facility acts as a
receiving/transfer site and sales distribution site. Colored mulches and
topsoils are produced at this facility.
Located off 56th Avenue
between Quebec and Havana on the old Stapleton Airport, it is conveniently
located to receive large volumes of wood and other materials destined for
recycling.
