APPLICATION method:
	Soil Amendment: Compost used as an amendment is typically incorporated into the soil anywhere from 3" - 6" deep or more, depending on class of compost used. The typical application rate to amend soil is 3 CY / 1000 sq ft at 1" deep. Top Dressing: Compost used as a top dressing is applied to the top the ground from 1/4" to a maximum of 3/8" in depth. The typical application rate for top dressing is 1 CY / 1000 sq ft at 1/4-3/8" deep.

A1 Organics Composts: BioComp - Class I EcoGro - Class I ProGro - Class II Evergreen - Class II Premium 3 - Class II ZOOP - Class II Buffalo Chip - Class II	Class I compost is calculated at 6 CY / 1000 sq ft for amending soil, and 2 CY / 1000 sq ft for top dressing. You can divide the calculated number below by 2 if desired for lesser application amounts. (Note: Class I compost can also be applied at 3 CY / 1000 sq ft. Simply divide the number of CY calculated below by 2) Class II compost is calculated at 3 CY / 1000 sq ft for amending soil, and 1 CY / 1000 sq ft for top dressing. Use higher amounts with care.
